So the MPAA refused a PG13-rating to Bully because of “some language” and thus preveting it from being seen by the persons most affected by the problem. Well done, MPAA…
Let’s see what recent movies did get a PG13 rating:
Breaking Dawn, Part 1 (2011)
Ghost Rider 3D: Spirit of Vengeance (2012)
The Woman in Black (2012)
Sucker Punch (2011)
Shark Night 3D (2011)
Don’t get me wrong - IMO those films are fine with a PG13 rating (and DanRad, sharks and Nic Cage rule ;-)) but slapping Bully with an R-rating when comparing it to those films is ludicrous!
Closed my eyes while watching “The Great Game” and imagined Smaug and Bilbo squabbling instead of Sherlock and Watson ;-)
